    Which one should you pull?

    The commencement of the second half of Honkai Star Rail version 3.3 introduced Cipher’s limited-time banner to all players. Trailblazers can pull for the character and her Light Cone from their respective banners to ensure their Cipher is effective in most activities. While this Nihility character’s banner is active, some players might want to boost her fighting prowess by pulling her E1 or S1.

    When you do so, make sure to pull for Cipher’s signature weapon in Honkai Star Rail. This article provides a detailed discussion on why that is the case.

    As mentioned, players should aim for Cipher’s weapon, Lies Dance on the Breeze, in Honkai Star Rail to boost her fighting prowess. When equipped, the item can grant various effects to the character wearing it, in this case, Cipher. The Light Cone boosts this Nihility unit’s SPD by a substantial margin while allowing her to lower the opponent DEF by a decent amount.

    Additionally, if your Cipher’s SPD is 170 or more, the enemies will be inflicted with an extra 8% DEF reduction debuff. This not only helps Cipher deal more damage but also her teammates, meaning this Nihility unit and her allies will easily be able to eliminate waves of adversaries by inflicting this LC’s effects on them. Meanwhile, Cipher’s E1 boosts her outgoing damage by a decent amount.

    When comparing Cipher’s S1 to E1, the former is better as the amount of utility it provides is more valuable than the latter. Moreover, her signature weapon costs less than her first Eidolon, making it a worthwhile piece of equipment in Honkai Star Rail.

    To top it off, the LC banners in this gacha title feature a whopping 75% chance of dropping the featured 5-star gear to players. This means Trailblazers will have a higher chance of getting Cipher’s S1 than her E1.
