Varun Dhawan’s love for his pet dog Joey is no secret and he was recently spotted with his furry companion outside his residence. The actor was seen gently placing Joey in his car, ensuring the pet was safely buckled up before heading out. Varun kept things casual, donning a pair of shorts, a graphic T-shirt and a cap for the outing.
A few days earlier, the actor delighted fans by sharing a heartwarming photo featuring his baby girl and Joey. In the adorable picture, Varun is seen holding his daughter in his arms as they sit together watching a cricket match on TV, with Joey by their side. The wholesome moment quickly won hearts online.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan was last seen in Baby John, which is currently trending on Prime Video. His next project is Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, a romantic comedy directed by his father, David Dhawan. The film boasts a star-studded ensemble including Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde, Maniesh Paul, Rajeev Khandelwal, Mouni Roy, Kubbra Sait, Chunky Pandey, Jimmy Shergill and Rohit Saraf. Produced by Tips Films Pvt. Ltd., the film is scheduled for a theatrical release in October 2025.
Varun is expected to appear in Border 2, followed by the highly anticipated No Entry sequel alongside Anees Bazmee. Reportedly, the actor is also in talks with Karan Johar and Dinesh Vijan about future projects, which would begin after his current commitments are completed.
Varun also has Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Janhvi Kapoor, which is expected to release this year. It will mark Varun and Janhvi’s second collaboration after Bawaal in 2023. The film also has other crucial star cast including Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi. It is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan.
The actor also joined the team of Border 2. Directed by Anurag Singh, it promises to be a great cinematic spectacle with a star-studded ensemble cast that includes Sunny Deol repeating his renowned roles, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty.
