Following the sudden demise of Sunjay Kapur, Malaika Arora, her sister Amrita Arora, and brother-in-law Shakeel Ladak were seen arriving at Karisma Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai late on Thursday night. Sunjay, a renowned Indian industrialist and Karisma’s former husband, passed away in the UK at the age of 53 after reportedly suffering a heart attack during a polo match.
In the images, Malaika Arora is seen dressed in a light beige outfit, looking visibly somber as she stood behind a glass door, speaking to her family before stepping outside. Another frame shows Malaika seated in the backseat of a car, accompanied by Amrita’s son. Shakeel, wearing a blue “REPRESENT” t-shirt, sits next to the driver. Malaika later joined them, and the group left the premises together.

In 2017, Sunjay married model Priya Sachdev, with whom he shares a son, Azarias. He also co-parented Priya’s daughter, Safira Chatwal, from her previous marriage.
Just hours before his death, Sunjay had posted on X (formerly Twitter) about the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad, expressing condolences to the victims’ families.
In a heartfelt post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Kapur wrote, “Terrible news of the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families affected. May they find strength in this difficult hour. 🙏 #planecrash.”
His untimely demise has left many in mourning, including Karisma and her close circle, who are currently reeling from the unexpected loss.
