Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney’s 2025 American thriller film Echo Valley is set to stream on the OTT platform to cater to a larger section of the audience worldwide. Directed by BAFTA Award winner Michael Pearce, the suspenseful mother-daughter thriller previously had a limited theatrical release in the United States on June 6, offering a rollercoaster ride of emotions while witnessing the movie to a selected number of viewers. Now, the psychological thriller is arriving on Apple TV+ this week.
The tense and emotional mother-daughter relationship portrayed by Academy Award winner Julianne Moore and Emmy Award nominee Sydney Sweeney, which has been garnering positive to strong reactions from viewers ever since the release of its trailer, is set for its OTT debut. The movie exploring a range of emotions will hit Apple TV+ tomorrow, June 13.
Echo Valley’s Plot
Talking about the 2-minute 35-second trailer of the Apple Originals Films, which was released a month back, it showcased how Kate Garrett (Julianne Moore), a fierce mother, comes to the help of her daughter, Claire Garrett (Sydney Sweeney). It was when the latter arrived at the former’s farmhouse in Pennsylvania in a completely shaken condition.
Covered in blood stains, reportedly from the killing of her boyfriend, who tried to force her into something, Claire even wraps Kate in the darkness of the morally grey territory. The story then revolves around the mother-daughter duo and how Kate takes up all hardships in order to “take care” of the situation. The trailer video ends with a question that asks how far one would go to protect one’s family – “Would you risk everything?”
The Cast And Crew Of Echo Valley
From the writer of Mare of Easttown and Emmy nominee Brad Ingelsby, Echo Valley is backed by a team of eminent A-listers, including Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, Kevin J. Walsh and Ingelsby himself. The psychological thriller also stars Domhnall Gleeson, Kyle MacLachlan and Fiona Shaw, Edmund Donovan, Albert Jones, among others in supporting roles. Benjamin Kracun is credited for the creative cinematography of the movie while the editing is done by Maya Maffioli.
