Sonakshi Sinha’s forthcoming psychological thriller Nikita Roy is making waves on social media. On June 11, the makers unveiled a captivating trailer, showcasing intense drama, spine-chilling horror scenes and engaging plots. Following the trailer’s release, Sonakshi’s close friend, Huma Qureshi, has extended her heartfelt wishes for the film.
The Maharani actress took to Instagram to share the Nikita Roy trailer, penning a heartfelt message, which read, “Hi Nikita Roy, AKA Sonakshi Sinha. All the best, Kush Sinha and the whole team. See you in the cinemas.”

Directed by Kussh S Sinha and written by Pavan Kirpalan, the film also features Paresh Rawal and Suhail Nayyar in key roles. Nikita Roy explores the fragile boundary between perception and reality, unravelling themes of paranoia, buried truths and the human mind’s darker recesses.
The film’s trailer begins with Sonakshi Sinha entering a creepy house in the woods at night, where she faces supernatural things. Paresh Rawal plays a fake spiritual leader who manipulates people and Sonakshi’s character is determined to reveal his real truth within a week. She teams up with Arjun Rampal’s character to solve a series of murders.
And you know what’s the best part? The trailer doesn’t give away too much, which makes it exciting and leaves us wanting more.
Produced by Nickky Khemchand Bhagnani, Viicky Bhagnani, Ankur Takrani, Dinesh Ratiram Gupta, Kinjal Ashok Ghone and Kratos Entertainment, the film is slated to hit the theatres on June 27.
On Huma Qureshi’s work front, the actress will be starring in Jolly LLB 3 alongside Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao and Saurabh Shukla. Additionally, the fourth season of the popular series Maharani is also in the pipeline, boasting an ensemble cast, including Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Pramod Pathak, Kani Kusruti, Anuja Sathe, Sushil Pandey, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Sohum Shah.
Talking about Sonakshi, the actress is gearing up to play a lawyer in an upcoming legal drama directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. Additionally, she is also set to expand her horizon with her Tollywood debut project, Jatadhara.
