Happy Birthday Disha Patani: Searching for some fitness motivation? Look no further. On her 33rd birthday, we’re taking a closer look at Disha Patani’s intense fitness regimen, a true masterclass in building a strong, toned physique. From heavy strength training to mixing up her workouts with diverse routines, the actress leaves no stone unturned when it comes to staying in shape.
Whether it’s her Instagram workout snippets or candid interviews, Disha’s commitment to health and fitness is both inspiring and aspirational. Her routine isn’t just about looking good — it’s about maintaining balance, discipline, and overall well-being.
Disha Patani has always been committed to her workout, no matter how busy she is with her jam-packed schedule. Affirming the same, her trainer Rajendra Dhole once said, “Disha by far is the most dedicated person you will meet when it comes to fitness. She trains every day for an hour. The only day she takes an off is a Sunday,” quoted by Vogue.
Disha Patani’s Fitness Routine
1. Morning Cardio, Evening Lifts, And A Clean Diet
Disha Patani’s workout routine begins with cardio in the mornings, including dancing, kickboxing or gymnastics, followed by weight training in the evenings. “I supplement that with a protein-carbs diet,” she said to Vogue in a 2018 interview.
2. Improving the balance of the body
Besides a rigorous workout plan, Disha Patani also believes in body awareness. For this, she can also be seen acing her famous backflip that improves strength, flexibility, coordination and balance of the body.
Additionally, she once discarded the general assumption that women generally practice cardio and not weight training, and cemented her thoughts that a good balance between the two is essential. “It has definitely come a long way, with just as many women working out in the gym today as men,” adding, “We all work out and do heavy weights; I come across so many girls in the gym training really hard. At the end of the day, it isn’t about gender, but about working on your body and becoming your fittest self.”
3. Use of multiple sets of cardio in her routine
For Patani, fitness is about focusing on different parts of the body during the whole session to target a set of muscles on rotation while letting other parts of the body get rest. “Disha does squats, deadlifts, military presses, shoulder presses, chest presses, bicep curls, tricep extensions,” told Dhole.
4. Lifts heavy weights to build muscle mass
“Low reps with heavy weights build muscle mass, as compared to doing more reps with lighter weights, which increases muscle endurance,” said Patani’s fitness trainer in the same conversation. Undoubtedly, the actress is often spotted lifting heavy weights during her gym sessions.
Meanwhile, the key to fitness for the actress is being active, which she revealed in an interview with HT. “I think for any person, you just need to be active. It does not matter whether you are an actor or not, or whatever profession you have; you need to take care of your body. Now, whatever that may take, strength training or playing a sport, whatever it is,” she shared.
5. Document your progressive fitness journey with others
“There is no secret as such,” mentioned Patani, highlighting the importance of showing off your months-long workout with your social media community. “Maintaining abs is the most difficult thing, as one day you have them and the next day they may disappear.”
Alongside her workout routine, she sticks to a simple diet. “It is definitely advisable to cram in a small meal before a workout, consisting of some protein, like eggs. After exercising, it is good to add protein again, either through chicken, eggs or paneer,” the fitness freak concluded.
