Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary were rumoured to be dating each other and reportedly broke up earlier this year.
Ankit Gupta was spotted in Mumbai by the paparazzi on Thursday evening with a mystery woman. In a video that surfaced on social media, the actor was seen walking out of an eatery in the city when the shutterbugs greeted him. He looked dapper in a shirt, which he paired with blue jeans.
However, Ankit waved at the paparazzi and asked them not to follow him. The actor was also seen accompanied by a mystery woman. Watch the video here:
Soon after the video was shared online, netizens wondered who the girl accompanying Ankit was. While some claimed that she might be his co-star for one of his upcoming projects, others asked if the actor has found love again. “Camera man ko kyun rok diya, kya chupana hai?” one of the users commented. “Kaun hai yeh ladki?” asked another.
Interestingly, this comes months after Ankit Gupta’s alleged breakup with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. The two worked together in the show Udaariyaan and then also participated in Bigg Boss 16. Even though they never confirmed their relationship, they were rumoured to be dating each other and reportedly broke up earlier this year.
Reacting to his alleged breakup with Priyanka, Ankit previously told Bombay Times, “Whatever it is, it has always been between two people. It is between two people, and it always will be. We cannot allow, nor do we allow, any third person to get into our… whatever it (equation) is.”
When asked how he is dealing with the chatter and scrutiny around his private life, he added, “I don’t really give it a thought. Because one thing I know for sure is that I am a public figure and people would always want to know about my life and a certain part of my life I would not be able to hide. No matter what.”
He said that there will be people who will love him for whatever he does, but at the same time, there will also be people who hate him and judge him for his actions. “But the thing is, they’re not the ones in my shoe. They don’t know why there is a certain decision (that I have taken); they don’t know why this thought? So, it is only me who’s going through that situation or who is in that situation and in that particular moment, in that particular situation, I’m also a human being like anyone else, I will take decision which I feel is right in that particular situation. So, I don’t regret my decisions and I really don’t care.”
