Last year, Ranbir Kapoor launched his own fashion and lifestyle brand titled Arks, which was widely promoted by his wife, Alia Bhatt. Earlier today, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actor was clicked in Mumbai, sporting a cap from her husband’s brand. Her streetwear style fashion game, too, was totally on point.
Alia Bhatt made a blink-and-you-missed-it appearance for paps in Mumbai today. She wore a cap from Ranbir’s newly-lauched brand and comfy clothes for her outing. She waved at paps calling out to her before swifting hopping into her car and speeding off. Here are the photos:
During the brand’s launch, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram and lauded Ranbir’s efforts.. In a sweet post, she also wrote “our dream”. “Our dream..10 years in the making..A home-grown brand-elevated essentials brand comes to life! @arks launching on the 14th February. Break a leg baby.” The promotional video showed Ranbir cycling around the Mumbai city. The actor said, “I have travelled to many cities across the world but nothing quite has the same energy for me as Mumbai. The kind that inspires you to try, fail and get back up again. You can’t help but keep going. Mumbai is a part of my being, my soul. It’s home. So many of my memories are tied to this place and it shaped who I am. And it is where I am easiest.” He crossed montages of the lanes of Mumbai, Marine Drive and the sea link among many others things. Then, a mural of Rishi Kapoor was seen painted at Bandstand.
Alia Bhatt changed her surname to Alia Kapoor?
Alia Bhatt appears to have finally changed her surname to ‘Kapoor’. Previously, Alia, who is married to Ranbir Kapoor, had mentioned her desire to add ‘Kapoor’ to her name but hadn’t found the time for the formalities. However, a recent still from her latest vlog seems to confirm that she has made the change.
In a glimpse from her vlog, Alia is seen standing in front of a sweet welcome message in her hotel room, which addressed her as ‘Dear Alia Kapoor’. This suggests that she has likely updated her name on official documents. Nevertheless, the image has sparked mixed reactions online. While some said that it is completely her personal choice, others called it a “brand name”.
