Huma Qureshi just served another look worth bookmarking. Turning up the heat on Instagram, the actress dropped a series of photos from her latest shoot, blending boss-lady vibes with bold glamour. She rocked a tailored grey blazer with delicate lace detailing, paired with sheer pants that added just the right touch of sultry. One word: breathtaking. Are you thinking it too?
Posing confidently, Huma Qureshi stole all our hearts with just her gaze, and we are not even complaining. The side note of the post read, “Hi (sic) a little lace a little business like.”
On the work front, Huma Qureshi is all set to make a powerful comeback to the digital screen with the much-awaited fourth season of Maharani. She will once again step into the role of Rani Bharati, the fierce and determined protagonist at the heart of the political drama. Originally premiering in 2021 on SonyLIV, the series has won audiences over with its gripping narrative and compelling performances.
Created by Subhash Kapoor and helmed by director Saurabh Bhave, Maharani 4 also features an impressive ensemble cast, including Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Pramod Pathak, Kani Kusruti, Anuja Sathe, Sushil Pandey, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Sohum Shah.
Talking about Maharani’s success with the Hindustan Times, Huma Qureshi earlier said, “I can definitely define my career before and after Maharani. That was the show where everyone stood up and took note of my talent. Its success inspired people to think about me in positions they hadn’t considered before. And now, Maharani is going to have a season 4.”
She further added, “More than me, my OTT success has increased the creators’ trust in me.”
The critically acclaimed show chronicles Rani Bharti’s unexpected rise to power after her husband, the incumbent Chief Minister, gets injured. As she forays into the complex world of politics, the political drama dives deep into the theme of power, leadership and betrayal. Directed by Karan Sharma, the gripping political drama is loosely inspired by real-life events in Bihar’s political history.
Apart from Maharani 4, Huma Qureshi will also be seen in Jolly LLB 3, a courtroom drama directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film features a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao and Saurabh Shukla.
