Pennsylvania-based Erie Insurance is still working to restore systems following a network outage that it revealed on Sunday.
“A network outage impacting Erie systems continues. All available resources are working to restore access as soon as possible,” the company reported in a brief update on its website.
The insurer has said the outage has affected “all systems” but has not yet given any information about the likely cause or source or whether data has been exposed.
Customers are still unable to access online accounts or reach online customer service as those are among the systems that are not operational.
During the outage, the company’s local agents, claims and customer care teams are helping customers. Policyholders who need to start a claim can contact their agent or contact the company’s first notice of loss team at (800) 367-3743. Customer care is also available to assist with policy or billing inquiries at (800) 458-0811.
